Don’t You Know Who You Are?

Temple of The Eye of The Sunimage credit: edshealthtips

In that space where we meet
In the temple of the heart,
You and all my spiritual ancestors
In that circle of light we sit.
In this weary physical form
A myriad points of scintillating light surround me
Nourishing and healing.
How gracious, how generous
Yet am I willing to receive your gifts?
My mind says there is so much to do
To earn your love.
You ask:
Don’t you know who you are?
Here are your friends, your family
You are one of us.
You who think you are alone
Are watched over and cherished.
To this meeting place
Always return
So you remember.

Hi Miruh… a nice piece of blog you’ve got. And nice post too! :)

For me, though, at times I know that I am a manifestation of Consciousness, through which It experience Itself in series of spacetime events.

This is wonderfully comforting, Miruh…and I love Ed’s photo.

“Always return
So you remember.”

I love these lines…thank you for the reminder!

Hello Rizal,

Yes, and sometimes the Great Mystery speaks to us in metaphors to which we can relate. For some the path of devotion, for some the path of knowledge and they both result in the experience of oneness.

I am glad you like the blog, it is my hope to inspire and meet others on the path through sharing my thoughts.

Hello Marion,

Welcome back home!

For me the heart is the space where I go for sustenance, for healing, for comfort, to commune with the Self.

I am glad you like it. Ed has been playing around with creating images. This is his first. Good huh?

Love and blessings

Beautiful, thanks for sharing. We are never alone for we are the many.

Alone = all + one, the most beautiful word, unfortunately, most of the times misunderstood for loneliness.
One has to truly realize for oneself the power of this exceptional word in the utmost stillness of the body and mind.
Wonderful connectivity with existence!

Hello Mark,

“We are never alone for we are the many.”

To know this we have to remember and one way is to keep revisiting the inner sanctuary where we can experience this.

I am glad you like it.

Happy weekend!

Hello Merging Point,

Alone = all + one.

Just think what it would mean for our modern culture if we get this. No more running ourselves tired to the bone to get away from loneliness.

This is great, thanks for sharing this wisdom.
