Hi Pamir,
Yes it is a difficult balancing act "...less so in specifics..." Through making appropriate choices, the power of intention and goal setting, we can create the reality we want. We feel we do have control in this regard, but ultimately we have no control over the bigger picture of how it manifests and in what form.
Isn't it affirming when we are in the midst of life happening, and we remember to put our spiritual training into practice? Life is a test, it is only a test! :-))
Cheers!

Miruh, you write of a difficult balancing act. I feel that the illusion of control is more at play in general, thematic & cosmic terms, less so in specifics, although having a surrender attitude comes in handy there as well.

Today I'm on the other side of some tense business back & forth that was distressing for me & quite frustrating. Through some weeks of it, all over email I had to stay pinpoint on point, advocate for myself & counter appropriately. In the end it resolved because I was able to neutrally show other party's inconsistencies & I never wavered from my integrity.

And the emotional intelligence I exercised as you describe it helped my communications remain non-accusing, yet strong. Thanks for the series. It's an important one.
