You, my friend have missed out on the excitement of having nightmares of being chased through the misty marshes by Gollum the murderous goblin and pursued by the giant spider, Shelob! Really, I have to confess that I read an abridged version for children. HaHa! I know someone who read the book five times in order to get all the characters straight.
