When disaster strikes, whether it is on a personal level or on a mass scale, like it is in Haiti today, we have the opportunity to contemplate our interconnectedness. When there is pain and suffering anywhere, we are all affected, even though we may not be aware of it.
As we contemplate our interconnection, we can easily see how our actions affect everything around us. Awareness leads to consciousness that elicits behavior that is compassionate towards the welfare of all beings. When ignorance prevails, we act in ways that cause disharmony to our environment and its eventual destruction.

Thanks for the mention Miruh. More so for recognizing what I attempted to convey. It’s only in that tandem sphere of heart-mind that we can better this world in every way.
From this release, the world is actually lifted up. People are feeling and not suffering. They were suffering when they repressed their feelings. The earthquake is a representation of a collective shake up of the ego. Parameters and rules of engagement have been broken so that one’s true sensations could actually be revealed. In this way, a so-called disaster is a cleansing of one’s clogged up energy field. It allows for the soul to become active again, whereas societal norms prevented people from living out their personal dreams. People are momentarily free to act out their stories and then to become creative to alleviate problems that are arising in the moment. It brings people to life, whereas before they were the walking dead. The ego mind sees these souls as now suffering. But I contend they were suffering before the earthquake and the earthquake brought to the surface what needs to be expressed. The foundation has been shook and a realignment and adjustment of the spine of all its occupants has been preformed. I find that society usually sees everything backwards. If it goes one direction, spirit usually wants to go in the other direction.

I have been thinking of how people who are directly in the zone of disaster are like the Bodhisattvas who take away the suffering of humanity by transforming energy for the good of all. It is interesting to notice the opposite views of some, that those people are being punished by God. We are all connected to what is happening in all parts of the world, where there is war, famine or natural upheavals. We are all the cause and effect and the solution.

Some people sense deep down they require some kind of crisis to experience a wake-up call in conscious inter-connectedness. Some people are unaware that everything that unfolds on physical energetic levels relates to thought energy and sometimes lack of awareness of inner power. Every perceived event is a wake-up call. Every person is equipped to determine the meaning of the shift in empathy, compassion and unconditional love. Upheavals are energetic signals for transition and ongoing change. People sense what they choose.

This is true. Everybody is free to choose to live with awareness and we are all at different places on that journey. Having awareness with tremendous compassion for ourselves and others for where we are on the journey is what matters.

As people choose to feel more interconnected, they also to choose to raise energy vibration and exchange healing energy to help those in need. The physical word teaches the importance of material things while the non-physical words remind us of the intrinsic value of everyone everywhere and how we are all extensions of the same collective consciouness.
