I remember pondering the starry sky at night, the wonder of it all, and as a young child, I felt that it was magical and where I came from. Somehow I think all children have the knowingness that we are not separate, that we and the stars are one, that we belong to a greater reality.

Tagore’s words are a potent metaphor for this life’s journey. It reminds us to see the perfection of this world, instead of being focused on looking for what is missing.

I agree, Maithri’s words lends an eloquence to the conversation. He describes himself as “just another young poet.” I think he is a great poet!

This reminds me of when my granddaughter was very young. She was watching the falling Stars one night and suddenly began to cry. She wanted to know where they went, when they fell.
